Universal Ensco is seeking both GIS Analysts, Programmers, SDE/Database Administrators and Technicians of all levels to work on a full time basis in Forth Worth, Texas
Analyst Position Require some or all of the following... This position will provide GIS support to pipeline projects. Duties include processing geospatial data varying formats and projections, creating maps in ArcMap and statistical summary tables in Excel. Must be detail orientated with excellent analytical and communication skills. Assist the GIS group in developing standardized operating procedures and promoting GIS services within the company. As a rule, GIS Analysts must have some or all of the following abilities: Maintain and create GIS pipeline routes for analysis, mapping and One Call efforts. Perform GIS administration and development under minimal supervision. Strong understanding of ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcInfo VB.NET, SQLServer2000, ArcObjects, MS Access knowledge is desirable but not required Java, HTML and XML is preferred for Developer positions GIS practices and principles such as Geographic Coordinate Systems, associated data and external system interfaces. Aerial and satellite imagery, linear Referencing, Works with engineers on projects and design requirements. Integrate knowledge of software to produce maps and drawings. As built existing facilities and update records. Prepare detailed maps with production information for Board presentations Prepares or coordinates preparation of working drawings from sketches and design specifications MUST HAVES - B.S. or Technical Degree in GIS, or 2 years similar experience, 2-4 years total experience.
