As we grow, we are seeking an experienced CAD GIS Subject Matter Expert onsite at a major airport in San Francisco, CA.

The CAD GIS Subject Matter Expert (SME) will work collectively with the Program Manager/Program Director, cross-functional client team members and internal Woolpert departments. This CAD GIS SME is a highly visible role working with cross-functional teams to design, create, collect, analyze and validate enterprise asset data and associated land data within the CAD, enterprise geographic information system (GIS), or other asset information storage databases to meet internal and external customer requirements. Our CAD GIS SME will have a proven ability to identify and uncover new business opportunities, work with and directly interact with our client to execute the required work, interact with the client staff in a professional and proactive manner to resolve issues, track progress, perform QA work associated with the requirements, make necessary corrections, and continually manage schedule and ensure quality.

Responsibilities:
•Identify and communicate business growth opportunities
•Facilitate scope meetings with clients to construct needs analysis and project definitions
•Support technicians by facilitating workshops focused on CAD GIS subject matter
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams across all project phases from conceptual/preliminary design, detailed design, and construction
•Recommend process improvements and enhancements on existing projects
•Ensure deliverables and quality standards are met in accordance with the agreed scope, schedule and budget
•Deliverables include but are not limited to:
oData management workflows, specifications and processes
oData conversion between CAD, GIS, and BIM using automated and manual tools
oMaps, reports or displays for various departments
oQA/QC spatial data
•dentify and recommend process improvements and enhancements on existing projects
•Facilitate client-facing change management and provide on-going communication throughout the project

Requirements:
•Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Geography, CAD or related field preferred
•7+ years of CAD and GIS related experience and 3+ years of managing large projects (aviation projects preferred) and clients.
•Excellent communication and consulting skills with emphasis on stakeholder engagement
•Ability to lead meetings and discussions
•Experience improving business processes
•Demonstrated advanced knowledge of VDC/BIM, AutoCAD Map or Civil 3D, ArcGIS Desktop
•Solid FME/ETL processes experience preferred
•Must be able to satisfy airport clearance and badging requirements
•Experience with FME Desktop and ArcGIS Pro is preferred
•Previous Aviation or Airport industry experience is a plus
•Previous utility experience a plus
•Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
•Ability to provide excellent customer service
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment
•Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills
•Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals
