Woolpert, Inc., a leader in the integration of planning and design, technology and geospatial systems, is looking for a highly motivated geospatial technician with 1-5 years’ experience to work on military master planning projects for the Department of Defense (DoD). The geospatial technician will collect, edit and process CADD/GIS data from various sources for application in Vision plans, Area Development plans, Installation Development plans, Facility Use surveys and related products requiring strong graphic representation of plan concepts from GIS data. Office location is Dayton, OH. Prior military service is favorable, but not required.
Tasks will include:
• Working as part of integrated military master planning and design teams
• Assisting in the research and preparation of reports
• Developing plan concepts from notes and rough draft drawings
• Creating finished report and presentation graphics
• Traveling as an integral member of project teams
• Proactively pursuing new graphic techniques and technologies and keeping current on military master planning practices
