Full-Time Geospatial Technician/Airborne Sensor Technician

Job Description
Woolpert, Inc., a leading design, engineering and geospatial firm, seeks Geospatial Technicians/Airborne Sensor Technicians (Geospatial Technicians – Level 3) with experience downloading, processing, and editing collected LiDAR data to work in our Arlington, VA office.
BS/BA degree in GIS, Cartography, Geography or Remote Sensing
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience
• Good stereoscopic vision
• Solid working knowledge of RGB imagery and LiDAR processing and dissemination required
• Computer competency in Windows environment
• Strong communication skills
• Candidate must have minimum one (1) year working directly with airborne LiDAR data, and knowledge of calibration, production and classification
These postions are full-time temporary for 5 months with the potential to hire after that time period if the candidate is interested in extensive travel and operating sensors in airplanes. CONUS and OCONUS travel is possible if candidate is willing.
