GIS Technician
Natural Resources Practice Area
V3 Companies, a multi-discipline civil engineering firm, is seeking a GIS Technician to support our Natural Resources Practice Area in our Woodridge office. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and/or qualifications.
General Responsibilities include:
• Develop geospatial mapping utilizing GIS software.
• Create, update and download publicly available GIS layers to update company database system.
• Prepare exhibits, site plans, maps and drawings.
• Perform GIS analysis with ArcGIS and add-on software.
• Develop construction documents.
• Other tasks / projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of ArcGIS experience.
• GIS Certification.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of Spatial Analysis and 3D Analysis is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented and ability to prioritize.
