LiDAR Technician

We are seeking a LiDAR Technician for our Lexington, KY and Denver, CO offices.
The LiDAR Technician will have the chance to work for one of the top mapping companies in the U.S. while using the latest Geospatial/GIS technologies.
Responsibilities:
Working as part of the integrated LiDAR team
Assisting with Aerial LiDAR Calibration, Cleaning, Classification, and Final Product Generation
Assisting with Mobile and Terrestrial LiDAR Processing, Feature Extraction and Final Product Generation
Requirements:
Must have a minimum 2-year degree in Engineering, GIS, Geography, or other related field OR equivalent military or technical experience
2nd shift work schedule available
Experience with all phases of Aerial, Mobile/MMS, and Terrestrial/Static LiDAR production is preferred
Working knowledge of Aerial LiDAR Calibration, Cleaning, Classification, and Final Product Generation is preferred
Working understanding of all phases of Terrestrial/Static LiDAR Production, including Scanning, Registration, Classification, Feature Extraction.
3D Modeling in Revit, Cyclone or Geomagic is a plus
Experience with using MicroStation, Terrasolid is preferred
Experience using TopoDOT is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as a team as well as independently
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment
